What is Occupational Course of Study (OCS)
There are two diploma tracks in the Wake County high school system, Future Ready and Occupational Course of Study. The Occupational Course of study is a job training diploma track for students who need to learn job skills, work skills, as well as earning a high school diploma. The classes are smaller, the pace very different and the students have work hours to complete during the school year. I have attached a couple of documents that further explain what OCS is all about.
